Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using Travel2Aus.

1. About Us

Travel2Aus ("we", "us", "our") is a travel planning and booking service operated by Travel2Aus. We provide personalised travel itineraries, package recommendations, and booking assistance for trips along the Australian East Coast and beyond. Our contact email is rob@traveltoaus.com.

Travel2Aus is an intermediary travel agency. When purchasing travel-related services through Travel2Aus, we receive a fee from the third-party suppliers who operate your services. By making a booking, all individuals named on the booking confirm that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions, consent to our use of personal data as per our privacy policy, and are over 18 years of age.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website (traveltoaus.com) or submitting a quote request through our forms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Each Service Provider has their own terms and conditions which apply to your travel in addition to Travel2Aus terms. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the fare rules of each of your bookings as well as the individual supplier terms and conditions.

3. Our Services

Travel2Aus provides travel planning advice, itinerary recommendations, and acts as an intermediary in connecting you with third-party tour operators, accommodation providers, and transport companies. We do not operate tours, accommodation, or transport directly unless explicitly stated.

All pricing displayed on our website is indicative and subject to change. Final pricing will be confirmed in your personalised quote. Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. All prices are dynamic and subject to change at any time at the discretion of the supplier.

4. Bookings & Payments

When you proceed with a booking through Travel2Aus:

5. Your Responsibilities & Behaviour

It is your responsibility to behave appropriately at all times. If your behaviour or the behaviour of any member of your party has caused or is likely to cause distress, danger, or damage to any third party or property, the operator reserves the right to terminate your booking immediately without refund.

It is your responsibility to ensure the dates on your vouchers are correct and correspond to your own itinerary. You must reconfirm all booked dates at least 48 hours prior to travel (or as stated on your voucher). Dietary requirements and any relevant additional information should also be confirmed at this time. It is your responsibility to ensure you redeem your tickets on the dates booked.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to rob@traveltoaus.com. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation policies vary depending on the tour operators, accommodation providers, and transport companies involved in your itinerary. We will clearly outline the relevant cancellation terms for each component of your trip at the time of booking.

If a tour or other travel service is cancelled by the Service Provider for any reason, we will first endeavour to rebook you free of charge. If this is not possible, we will refund you the amount paid for that service less any supplier charges, subject to a fully refundable amount being offered by the supplier. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method. We do not issue refunds in cash.

Whilst we normally process refunds swiftly, situations such as natural disasters may result in processing times of up to 90 days.

7. Changes to Bookings

We understand that travel plans change. We will do our best to accommodate amendments to your booking, but changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs from the relevant suppliers. Any amendment requests should be submitted in writing to rob@traveltoaus.com with adequate notice as per your supplier's terms and conditions.

8. Travel Insurance

In line with the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, we strongly advise all travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel. It is your personal responsibility to purchase your own travel insurance to cover any liability which may be incurred to us or a Service Provider, and other travel misadventures that you wish to be insured against. This includes cancellation cover for transport providers.

Travel insurance should cover medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and adventure activities. Travel2Aus accepts no liability for losses that would have been covered by appropriate travel insurance. Please ensure your policy covers all adventure-style activities you have booked.

9. Dive Activities

When booking any scuba diving or snorkelling related activities, you must advise us if you have a past history of or currently suffer from any relevant medical conditions including but not limited to: asthma, chest pain, high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, ear surgery, fainting, lung disease, or any other condition that may affect your ability to dive safely.

By booking dive activities with us, you confirm that you are not currently taking any prescribed medication (excluding oral contraceptives), you are not pregnant, and that you are not flying within 24 hours of completing a dive. If you are refused participation in any dive activity due to a pre-existing medical condition, this may result in a 100% cancellation fee from the supplier.

10. Third-Party Suppliers

Many of the experiences, tours, accommodation, and transport services included in your itinerary are provided by independent third-party operators. While we carefully select our partners, Travel2Aus is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of any third-party supplier. To the extent permitted by law we will not be responsible for any loss, expense, or damage suffered during any particular tour, accommodation, or travel arrangement — these matters are the responsibility of each individual Service Provider.

11. Passports, Visas, Vaccinations & Immigration

It is your sole responsibility to fulfil all passport, visa, vaccination, and immigration requirements for all transiting, stopover, and final destinations applicable to your itinerary. We do not accept any responsibility in the event that you are unable to travel due to non-compliance with any such requirements. Please check all requirements well in advance of travel.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travel2Aus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or travel experiences booked through us. Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total fees paid to Travel2Aus in relation to that booking.

13. Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure that the information on our website and in our recommendations is accurate and up to date. However, travel information, pricing, and availability can change rapidly. We recommend verifying all important details directly with the relevant suppliers before travelling.

14. Conduct

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent), that all information provided to us is accurate, and that you will comply with the rules and requirements of all third-party suppliers involved in your trip.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
