Departing from Coral Sea Marina at 9am, the day runs 9am–5pm. You're travelling with accredited Climate Action Leaders, Australia's only marine accredited Savannah Guide Enterprise, and the guiding experience behind 11 years of award-winning Whitsundays tourism.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time does it depart and return?

+
Thundercat departs from the award-winning Coral Sea Marina at 9am and returns approximately 5pm. The day runs 8 hours in total.

Is it suitable for young children?

+
Yes — the tour is suitable for ages 2 and up. The Thundercat is a stable catamaran custom-built for the Whitsundays, making it comfortable for all ages including families. Children under 4 must be approved before departure and supply their own lifejacket.

What if I get seasick?

+
Thundercat's catamaran hull is specifically designed to minimise motion and alleviate concerns about seasickness. It's one of the most stable vessels operating in the Whitsundays — a longer day means more time at the iconic locations rather than travelling.

Do I need to complete anything before arrival?

+
Yes — please complete the online check-in form before arrival. The link will be included in your booking confirmation email from Red Cat Adventures.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

+
All meals are included. You're welcome to BYO alcohol in the esky (no red wine or glass). Soft drinks and water are not sold on board — bring a refillable water bottle.

Can I build this into a full East Coast package?

+
Absolutely. Head to our Package Builder and Rob will build your full East Coast itinerary around it.
